I like that this offense still has room to improve up towards...and thanks, Fuzzy.

"I can remember Larry Allen and pancaking Talley and Bennett en route to a SB routs."

You may want to correct that.
L.A. did not play in those games.

Martin is putting on one of the best oline performances I have ever seen. I can remember Larry Allen and pancaking Talley and Bennett en route to a SB routs. When you run behind Martin, he ends up blocking three people. First step is to the left where he uses his left hand to jar Paea over Fred. Second step right sees his right hand punch the DE and helps Free finish turning him outside. He then explodes into the LB and drives him back 5 yards. His combination of quickness and power is unparalleled. Pass protection with him is boring the way I like it. They get in range and their rush is over. His main issue is reacting to stunts, twists, and blitzes but as he sees them he is picking them up at a better and better rate. This time next year?
LA's rookie year was 1994. The Super Bowls against the Bill were 1992 and 1993.

fuzzy, you failed to mention the blocking downfield by the WRs, especially Dez. His downfield blocking reminds me of TO......as much of a diva as TO was, he was one helluva downfield blocker. If I am Murray, Randle, or Dunbar, and I am at the second level, I find Dez and run his way, cause I will probably get a strong block to spring me.....of course, Murray will probably get caught from behind before he gets near Dez, but that is neither here nor there.....hehehe

I am so sick of the announcers giving Dez a hard time about his outbursts on the sidelines, especially when they have no idea what he is saying. He is a fiery and passionate player. He plays hard. He blocks hard. He celebrates just as hard for his teammates scoring as he does for himself, if not more. He just wants to win.

Thought I mentioned it but if not I am not going to argue your point. I agree 100%.

Fuzzy, you're the man.

I really wish people would back off Murray. His ability to take shot after shot, and still in the fourth he's pounding away is a blessing to this offense. A lot of guys are quick/fast, Emmitt was not. But without Emmitt, we don't win even 1 super bowl. I hope Jerry doesn't listen to fans on this one, we don't know crap.

I do however like Randle as a change of pace guy, but because of the record going on right now, he's not going to get those carries. When the playoffs start, and we're in it, we need to mix Randle in as someone said prior, about 10 to 12 snaps. I'd also like to feature Harris and Beasley a little more, that would remove the double teams from Witten & Dez.

Last thing, when was the last time we went through a season on offense where we didn't have like 2 linemen hurt, a receiver go down, a runner hurt or something like that? Did we switch out our trainers?

This is a good point. Woicik is in his second year and I think there is something to be said about gains in the second year in a program. The hamstring problems have evaporated. We see Spencer come back from injury and stay on the field. Guys like Smith, Selvie, and McClain have managed various hurts and stayed on the field for the most part.

I was down on Woicik after last season but this seasons returns have been great.

I think it also helps when your leader is playing with a bad back, taking huge hits and still coming back for more.....oh and also when you are winning games.
