News: FWIW: Cowboys remain America’s (favorite) team

With so many polls currently focused on the Commanders, there’s another poll that centers on the Cowboys.

According to SportsBusiness Daily, a recent Harris Poll shows that the Cowboys remain the most popular team among American football fans.

The Cowboys remained on top since the last time the poll was conducted in 2011, even though the team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2009.

I don't know of any Packers fans (and I know a lot!) who claim the Packers are #1. Most don't seem to care one way or another about the "America's Team" moniker.

One interesting argument I have heard them voice is if you removed all the Cowboys fans in Texas (Texas has 26 million people) and all the Packer fans in Wisconsin (Wisconsin has 5 million people) from the equation would the Cowboys ands Packers flip flop the #1 and #2 spots.

My guess is the Cowboys will still be #1, but it's an interesting argument.

Stealers dropped from 2-7 and when they are bad they are simply not compelling. Don't let the towels in the stands fool you. The bright yellow stands out but if we had the same type of thing with blue towels it would look the same or better.

On the other hand, we are the greatest show on earth. There's entertainment, danger, excitement and tragedy awaiting at every turn. We're the most exciting average sports team on the planet

So the Cowboys were number 1 after a 6-10 2010 season and number 1 again after a frustrating 8-8 season and yet you have other fanbases calling Cowboy fans bandwagon? What's to bandwagon?
