Jerry will still have to follow the NFL rules as far as interviewing canidates and Bill is still under contract AND I doubt Jerry is going to go leak out who Bills replacement is if he really wanted Bill to stay so I'm still not buying that someone knows Jerry wants Wade.

I dont think espn 1033 has any local shows on today. Dave shore is the cowboys guy for 1033.

Maybe they just talked about it during an update after a commercial. Jerry said last week to norm that he could have the answer right now if he wanted it but he wants bill to take his time.

This is not new. It was last friday that jerry told norm that. Espn 1033 probably got the same type of quote from jerry yesterday or today.

The telling news will be monday. Who is going to the senior bowl practices? That is something parcells would normally do, he didnt last year but did the other years. I would imagine he would have ireland and other scouts going....

If he doesnt go though and doesnt speak then he is probably leaning towards leaving.

every report that isn't a definite answer that Parcells is coming back, doesn't mean it's a report that Parcells is leaving

If we are waiting for assitants from the teams possibly playing this weekend then there is no need to let the fans and media know. WHen they have their staff they will let us know.

Maybe Jones is shedding crocodile tears and wants to make absolutely certain he won't be second guessed or responsible over Parcells running to the hills.

Would you really want an underachieving coach toiling for you that you had to induce to stay? Something else is afoot here that goes beyond what has been reported.

Jones is fairly savvy on business matters and influential.
