Because I care, I was comparing some numbers for the Cowboys going into the Thanksgiving Day game in 2007 and 2008.
The difference in a year is staggering:

Category 2007 2008

Record 9-1 | 7-4
Ppg. 32.4 | 24.1
Opp. ppg 21.8 | 22.8
Rush off. 117.5 | 112.1
Pass off. 275.5 | 236.1
Total def. 311 | 294.5
Rush def. 84.3 | 98.4
Pass def. 226.7 | 196.2
Turnovers +5 | -6

I wonder what the difference is between this year and last when you take only the games Romo has played.

I bet not that much.

Just so the December numbers flip-flop, that's what I care about.

Good point, I would like to see those numbers as well but I am too lazy to calculate them.

Okay, with Romo they are averaging 28 points in 2008.
In 2007, they averaged 28.4 points per game according to this: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/dal/2007.htm

That is not much difference in scoring.

Its totally useless to do this comparison without taking into account that Romo did not play in 3 of those games, apples to oranges.
