Pacman will be on final roster
It remains to be seen whether Adam Jones will be reinstated to the NFL by commissioner Roger Goddell.
But owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday that Jones will be on the Cowboys final roster.
That's one reason why Jones is hopeful of a decision on or before teams make final cuts Aug. 31.
"I don't know that that will be the case," Jones said. "It should be. I would encourage that because we are going to include him in the final cut.
We sure would like to know. But all along it's been up to what Roger ultimately decides."
Adam Jones is confident that he will be reinstated because has been trouble free since commissioner allowed him to practice with the Cowboys several weeks ago. It was his understanding if he stayed out of trouble he would be allowed to play in 2008.
Just same, Jones will send a later to the commissioner on Thursday requesting to be reinstated.
Jerry Jones thinks its a great public relations move by his suspended cornerback.
"It's incumbent on him to express and show the commissioner that the curtain has come up in a lot of these areas," Jones said. "I want to use that term, the curtain has come up for him. So I think he's really wants to influence the commissioner's decision."
