Cameras caught up with Garrett before interview

9News in Denver caught Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett at the airport and before his interview with the Broncos on Tuesday. Listen to Garrett's early in this interview, he slips and calls the Broncos the Dolphins -- twice.

Super smart Garrett rarely slips on his words so it was odd to hear this from him. Cowboys fans were probably hoping he didn't stay rattled during his interview.

I think Morris and Dennison are the two leading candidates, and I'd say they go with Morris to patch up that awful defense.

That would be asking quite a bit to ask for a first time head coach who has never even been a coordinator. Morris is going to be a head coach one day but he would need to bring an experienced coordinator with him. Once Herm Edwards goes in KC, that might not be a bad choice but I would wonder if Edwards would do it.

Denver needs a GM too right? Wasn't Shanny doing those duties?

I think Bowlen ought to grab Scott Pioli fast and see if he can bring in Josh McDaniels.

Keep his grubby mitts off Garrett. My agenda is showing again.

It is a tall order; however, if Andy Reid can do it Morris might can as well. Granted though it is not ideal to tab a non-coordinator as a 1st time coach. As far as Garrett, I was frustrated with his play calling this season but I do hope he returns for next year. I feel like he'll learn from his mistakes and do a much better job.

Not to dogpile the guy, but WHAT THE HELL?

"Why do you want to coach the Broncos?"

"Well, I've always liked it here in Seattle, and the legacy of great players like Bart Starr and Kellen Winslow makes me think I'd feel at home here with the Cardinals."

He was a DC, but he also inherited a great coordinator in LeBeau. Morris will not have that luxury.

I wanted Dick Lebeau to run the 3-4 here so bad. There's only 1 or 2 DCs I respect as much as him.

Didn't Parcells want him here too? I thought Lebeau would leave when Tomlin was hired or this year since Tomlin prefers the 4-3/Tampa 2 scheme. I guess Tomlin decided to stick with what works.
