Headed to Senior Bowl

The Cowboys coaching staff, scouts and Jerry Jones are headed to Mobile, Ala. on Monday for the Senior Bowl practices. This also serves as a coaching job fair.

Wade Phillips could be on the hunt for a new defensive coordinator, unless he decides to promote from within. Last year he hooked up with Dave Campo, who told him he was interested in coming back to Dallas and was soon hired as a secondary coach.

The scouts will get a good look at some of the best seniors in the country and they got an up-close look at Tashard Choice in Mobile last year.

What good 3-4 coach doesn't have a job right now?

It seems to me most of the best guys available are 4-3 guys.

The D-coordinator hire will interest me on several levels. I think it will be a reflection about this current coaching staff. Will it be a Garrett guy? Will it be a Wade guy? Will it be a Jerry guy? Will it be someone completely different?

Randy Galloway calls Dallas "Loserville" (for it's current futility in all sports, not just football), and with good reason.

Jerry Jones would truly be upping the ante if he put Campo back in. Or even let him be DC.
