Day for the defense
I told you this morning that safety Alan Ball had been active in camp. He was one of the players Wade Phillips singled out during his press conference a few minutes ago. Ball had two interceptions in the morning practice.
"He had a nice practice this morning," Phillips said. "I thought Marcus Spears really did some good things this morning and Anthony Spencer. Again we put a few more things in defensively that made it a little harder for the offense. They’ll catch up, put a few more things in and make it a little harder for the defense."
