Nick Folk is money

We have neglected Pro Bowl kicker Nick Folk a little here on the blog. No more. I just watched him go through field goal drills and was perfect. He was 8-for-8 and it included a 44-yarder. He was blasting everyone with tremendous power. He was peppering the Cowboys cameraman who was taping practice from the mechanical lift.

Let's hope he can get his kickoffs past the 10 yard line.

I said the same thing until I read an article that said he did a lot of directional kicks, which shortened the distance of his kickoffs... as well as trying to get more "height" on his kicks in order to give the KO team more time to get down there. I'm sure he could blast it inside the 5.. but hang time was the key.

He is money. Is it just me or did he seem to make every single BIG kick this year? I think he was perfect in the 2nd half, and make 2 game winners, and made that ridiculous 47 yarder in the dirt in Miami right before halftime.

Drafting Folk in 2007 was great idea; of course I thought it was dumb when I first heard it cause we already had Gramatica. But what did I know. Anyway, glad to hear he still kicking well; hopefully his kicks go deeper but he's still money as a FG kicker. Those 2 kicks he made to win against the Bills is a memory that let's forever.

The amazing thing about those kicks....
Go watch them again they look exactly the same. Same placement and everything

His performance against the Bills last year was simply amazing.

Imagine what his career achievements could be by the time he finally retires.

I won't be surprised if he holds virtully every Cowboy career kicking record by then.

this is why i'm so glad we invested a draft pick in him. finally this problem isn't band aided and with any luck this problem is gone for a decade.

you actually looked deeper into the issue, instead of taking it at face-value??

you know that's not allowed on here, shame on you
