Hazing haircuts

Ah, yes, it's not officially training camp until a rookie has to go through some sort of hazing ritual. This one was certainly demure by hazing standards (i.e., harmless), but amusing nonetheless:

The rookie offensive linemen got buzzed by their veteran peers last night, and were showing the evidence today at practice. Some were fine, others not so much.

First, here's Travis Bright with his new 'do, what he called "the last Mohican thing with a little David Letterman thing (in the front)." Bright wasn't upset about his cut at all. "It's a bit cooler now, so what the heck. I'm married now, so I don't have to worry about girls."

Now Greg Isdaner's was a little more odd. There's a cut through the back, as you can see. And, yes, the top of his head was buzzed:

All in good fun at Cowboys camp.

That sucks....get shaved with no chance of making the team anyway.

A cheap camp haircut is about as much as these guys are gonna make in the NFL.

Besides a signing bonus, and clearly they had a free college education. Yeah not too bad.

Not to mention getting to tell their kids they played for the Dallas Cowboys.

Agreed. How many men can say they were once a part of the Cowboys organization and mean it?

As far as the haircuts, I'm glad these guys have senses of humor or they'd be mad as hell upon looking in the mirror.

A serious question, what if a rookie had male pattern baldness...would they let him go and take it easy on him (just the hair cutting part anyway) or ruin his life early since it won't grow back that well?

If I was a Cowboys rookie I'd get a really short buzz cut BEFORE training camp.
