Houston defensive end N.D. Kalu and his defensive mates were continually gashed by Cowboys running back Marion Barber in Friday night's loss. Barber had plenty of room to run, but Kalu believes it was more about the Cowboys scheme than the back. Translation: It wasn't us that sucked, they just have a good scheme that we couldn't figure out.

The Texans’ first-team defense went another preseason game without recording a sack. They pressured Tony Romo at times, but were unable to rattle the Cowboys starter.

I'm guessing Kalu is blaming that on scheme also.
