Jerry thinking of playing in home Super Bowl
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had only a suprisingly short speech during the luncheon. But in his quick few minutes he showed his passion and dreamy thoughts about playing in the Super Bowl in 2011 (2010 season) in the new stadium.
Jerry clinched his fists and looked down while he delivered this....
"I have said many times to Wade can we even...tell me I'm not thinking about it, but what if, what if, someway we were sitting there knocking on the door of that big game and playing it together out here at this that new stadium sitting there with Bob Cluck (Arlington Mayor), Tarrant County and really having a big time. Dreaming, dreaming."
Then, Jerry looked over to safety Ken Hamlin, who signed a 6-year, $39 million contract in the offseason, sitting nearby with the rest of the players.
"I don't mind telling you Ken Hamlin, you would have come up with a few dollars less if I didn't think we had a shot at doing that," Jones said.
