"Can't breathe can't stop laughing De Angelo Hall is a comedian!'

That is the status update of Cowboys receiver Miles Austin on his Facebook account tonight. I didn't know why until I clicked on www.profootballtalk.com and saw a post linking to cornerback DeAngelo Hall predicting that the Commanders will win 11 or 12 games and dominate the NFC East.

"It's based on the talent we feel like we've got. It's based on the improvements I feel like we've made. It's based on the scheme," Hall said during an interview with Dan Steinberg of the DC Sports Blog. "The scheme alone is gonna give us four or five more wins. The games we lost by two, three points, we'll win those games, easy."

"We'll dominate our division, off of bringing Donovan McNabb in here, a guy who's dominated the division in the past," Hall continued. "So that's just an educated guess. That's an educated guess, and I stand behind. I'll stand behind that. I'll fight and claw to try to make that happen."


So if you didn't know now you know. You also know why Miles Austin is rolling on the floor laughing and out of breath.

If you don't remember the Commanders won just four games last season.

I don't know about dominate, but I fully expect the Commanders to be better this year with Shanny and McNabb. They still have a good defense. Score a few more points will make them win a few more games.

If I was a head coach, I would ban all players from having any type of twitter, facebook, or ******* type of account. All it can really do is lead to trouble. Eventually everyone is going to post something regrettable or get in a war of words with a division rival. I would simply put an end to it amd take away any chance of anything happening.

I think a week ago it was reported that Miles had his facebook status saying something about having a wild night out and seeing Ben Roethlisburger singing "Love in the Club".

Either Miles is becoming a trash talker, or it's a fake account.

Deangelo's only been on 1 team that had anything like that kind of record, the 2004 Falcons his rookie year went 11-5. Of course it helps when you get to play the Jim Haslett coached Aaron Brooks led Saints twice a year, and of btw, those Saints were the BEST competition in the division that year, they went 8-8. Also featured on their schedule was the 5-11 Tampa Bay Buccanneers twice, and the 7-9 Carolina Panthers. I'm sure that's the exact level of competition he can expect in the NFCE this year.

And btw, DH only started 9 games that season. He wasn't even in 6. I assume a hold out at the beginning of the season, when the Falcons went 5-1 without him to start the season. Did I mention that they got beat by the 6-10 LIONS that year?

In short, DH has no authority to talk about what a winning team looks like. Thus, his obvious confusion about the quality of Commanders. Somebody should explain to him that he doesn't get to play in the NFCS anymore. He's obviuosly been hanging out with Clinton Portis so long that he's lost all touch with reality.

Maybe, maybe not. They're going from a 4-3 to a 3-4. Who knows how fast the players will learn their new positions, or even if they'll fit well in the new scheme. Everybody keeps saying the Skins are gonna play great defense. I think it's yet to be seen.
