It's Tony time
Brad Sham didn't even bother going through the usual pre-announcement stuff with Romo. No years in the league, no school affiliation, just... Tony Romo (by the way, if I had a sound checker in here, Jason Witten still got a bigger ovation).
Anyhoo (oh, wait, I'm hearing some boos in here, too. Get talking, kids, get talking...)
Sham just asked if that means he's more motivated: Romo wins the fans back by saying, "Hola, San Antonio! Viva Los Cowboys!"
And with that, he's gone.

Hurd and the home crowd
Aaah, you knew that was coming, didn't you? Mr. Sam Hurd was feeling the love from his native San Antonio.
You wouldn't think that could be topped... but Roy Williams, who said he's "happy to be home" for this training camp, got a huge ovation.

'Backs having some fun
Fullback Deon Anderson came out here trying to get the crowd going, wearing a black cowboy hat. And as Marion Barber came to the stage, he, Anderson and Tashard Choice did a little dance. Brad Sham was trying to get Barber and Felix Jones out here talking together, but Jones backed away and left the stage to Barber.
I would love to tell you what Barber said, but the microphones they're using are awful. And it doesn't help that Barber is a very quiet talker.

A big check
Sorry, I'm just thinking out loud as the Cowboys offensive line takes the stage: I would absolutely hate to pick up the check at a dinner with these guys. Lot o' big boys on the stage right now.

Hello, DeMarcus
The San Antonio fans have made it clear they are loving Mr. DeMarcus Ware. Easily the loudest ovation thus far as we are now through the special teams, defensive line and linebackers.

Player moments
Matt McBriar was among the specialists on stage first (by the way, special teams will be the first part of practices this training camp). He's healthy again after that nasty injury against the Cardinals last season.
And now for my favorite name of all time: Igor Olshansky! Aaah, it just rolls off the tongue.
Marcus Spears just got introduced... apparently he's been working out with Randy White in the martial arts sector. There does seem to be a glint of zen to go with that aggression.

Joe DeCamillis appears
The special teams coach is the first one introduced as part of some of the coaching introductions. He's here in a neck brace, but he's here nonetheless. Fantastic story.

Heeeeere's Jerry!
Mr. Jerry Jones is on stage, getting a "Jerry" chant from the fans as the flashbulbs go off (I guess this is the digital age, so no bulbs anymore. Anyway, I digress...)
He's giving props to the city of San Antonio (and of course there's a mention of margaritas), and a personal invite to the Cowboys' game against the New York Giants (a lusty boo from the crowd).
And with that, Mr. Jones has left the stage.
