Surprisingly, Romo gets specfic

Tony Romo would be the first to tell you that he has plenty of room for improvement. One area where Romo has excelled is being interviewed, answering questions, talking for a long time and saying little if anything.

But when Romo spoke to the Minnesota media on Wednesday, he actually addressed the Vikings’ injury situation in the secondary.

“They do a good job. They play man-to-man, zone, they can be a little more aggressive because of the front sometimes. Generally you have to watch out for that. I don’t know, we’ll see. I think there’s an opportunity there with some double move stuff and the safeties and things of that nature. We’ll see.”

I agree. IIRC they were also pretty banged up in the secondary last year in the playoff matchup, but we still couldn't complete much down the field.

LMAO,,, he's blowing smoke. It's the same weak-*** Cowboys OL vs the same strong Vikings DL, which means Romo will be doing 3 step drops and quick screens to avoid another pummeling.
Maybe if they max protect and send out 1 receiver he can try a double move,,, :laugh2:

Its gotten to the point where I don't fear any secondary on our schedule. I have more fear if we're getting penalties and defensive pass interference calls.

Has anybody besides me noticed that Romo wheeps like a little girl before going on potential game-winning/losing drives?

Don't get me wrong. I've seen him lead the Cowboys across the field in crunch time more than I can count, but he's kinda depressing to look at crying on the sidelines. Show some fire, you're a grown man playing a kids game.

We may not fear the secondary, but the fear is in the pass protection to allow Romo to get it where it needs to be.

But recalling the last games, and Im doing this just with my memory, weve lost more games cause other mistakes than Romo´s. He always keep us in games, showing his feelings or not showing em.

Having said that, he´s a Favre fan, and grew up watching him. I guess its kinda too much to ask him not to show emotions.

yep...were all seeing it and not liking it. Just wish he had a tad more Drew Brees in him...
