Tank Ready to Play

Defensive tackle Tank Johnson said he thinks by Sunday he'll be 100 percent and ready to play against the Commanders.

Although he did not practice on Thursday, Johnson returned on Friday.

"I just needed a day of controlled movement to see where I was; I did a lot better than yesterday," Johnson said. "By Sunday, me being young, I should be able to heal up very quick."

Johnson said he suffered the ankle tweak in the second half of the game against the Packers.

"Lambeau Field wore down in the second half. It got really bad," he said. "It was so messed up - I had seen everyone change their cleats and I was going to change it the next series. Sure enough, next series, ground slides and I just tweaked it."

The field looked like garbage, and I remember TO slipping and missing a pass.

I remember that too, he just fell... it wasn't even like a slip, then slide, it was like his feet just flew out from under him as he planted to stop.

At least it wasn't as bad as Heinz Field was when the Steelers played the Dolphins I guess.

I think Tank has not been 100% but CC you're right. He's not been the force I thought he would be. I was hoping he'd be as good or better than Ratliff at NT. Maybe we'll see something this week.

Agreed he's been a lot of talk and not to much substance it doesn't help that Ratliff is coming on strong right now.

Felix also slipped down, causing one of the intential grounding calls. So I guess we can see one reason why the Packers really do have a home-field advantage at Lambeau.
