Combine chatter
-- Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Malcolm Kelly, regarded by some as the top receiver in the draft, will not run at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Kelly's agent said on Sirius NFL Radio that his client is still limited by a leg contusion he suffered in the Fiesta Bowl.
The receivers workout on Sunday at the RCA Dome. There is a chance Kelly, a Longview native, could also be available when the Cowboys pick at No. 22. His strengths include size (6-4, 218) and excellent hands. NFL teams will have to wait to see his time in the 40-yard dash. That will likely come at the Oklahoma Pro Day on March 11.
-- Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones and coach Wade Phillips will be headed to the combine on Friday.
