Wade's World: Monday edition
Nuggets today from Wade Phillips' press conference...
* Started by saying punt coverage was poor. Take note of this. Wade rarely starts with knocking anything.
* Impressed with Felix Jones.
* Thought OLB Erik Walden looked better in the game than he had in practice.
* Highlighted the play of rookie corners Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick.
* Believes Martellus Bennett's personal issue he has been dealing with is over.
* OLB Anthony Spencer missed practice with a bruised knee that he injured against San Diego. He experienced some swelling and was held out.
* Backup QB Brad Johnson will see more time with the starters next game in an effort to keep him from having to scramble.
* Dave Campo told Wade before the game that Pacman would struggle.
* Said the Cowboys final practice on Tuesday will be an "hour and something." The team travels to Denver after practice. Wade wouldn't call it a walkthrough.
* Was pleased with Bobby Carpenter's effort and said he was around the ball and that his hard work is paying off. Is that what you fans thought?
