Where's Bennett?

Tight end Martellus Bennett has had two drops in the past two games and hasn't been a factor in the passing game as was anticipated throughout training camp.

"Hopefully he can work in more and I think there's plays for him to be made," Phillips said. "We have quite a few guys we're getting the football too. Martellus will be part of that."

Tony Romo tried to get Bennett a touchdown in the fourth quarter on fourth-and-1 from the 1. With Carolina stuffing the line, Romo lobbed a fade to Bennett, but it sailed well out of reach.

3 games, 3 catches for 27 yards and 0 TDs. Not what most of us expected.

No, but with JWit on the team, it doesn't leave too many leftovers for MartyB.

By now every weapon on the team should have a half dozen scores.

Not what I expected to this point.

I think getting him involved would help the entire offense by giving opponents something else to worry about.

To this point, he's been a non-factor.

I thought some were getting a little too carried away with their expectations of Martellus Bennett.

I think I read one post where someone said he would have 14 TDs or something like that.

I think he will come up big in some games but I don't think he will put up Pro Bowl numbers.

With Witten getting thrown to 10 or so times per game, Bennett realistically will only get 2-3 opportunities.
10 passes go to Witten. Ideally you want to attempt at least 10-15 passes to your top 3 WRs. Then you've got your 5 or so dumpoffs to RBs. What does that leave Bennett? Not much.

That was not a fourth down play, it was a third down play.

Not only that... why isn't Miles Austin and Sam Hurd more involved?

and why hasn't Felix Jones gotten the ball more?

why don't Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton have more catches?

In my opinon Tashard Choice has been under used.

Marion Barber needs to be fed the ball early and often.

Jason Witten needs to needs to improve his yards per catch!

We should throw more!

I don't understand why we don't run the ball more often?

Stupid Jason Garrett :banghead:

Aren't we averaging over 400 yards on offense per game?

People are too worried about getting everyone touches. Give the ball to whoever is hot, and put up points that way. If Marty wants the ball, he's gotta earn it.

Yeah, because on 5th down we did not kick the chip shot FG.

He should be more of a factor. At least get some throws to him to open Witten and Roy up. He has blocked well.

At some point teams will pay even more attention to Witten which should open things up more for Bennett.
