One line in the article about the suite and you make it the lead for your post?

They mean the practice fields at Valley Ranch don't they? If so it's Jerry's money not public money so I don't care if he builds it.

The rest of the article was cool about them getting Barber and Newman signed and how Romo and Davis helped.

I assumed CBZ was going to post the whole thing in the Daily Zone. Plus there are some other posts with the same info. The blurb was an interesting tidbit.

I didn't mean "Jerry at it again" in a bad way. I was thinking of it from an entrepreneurial perspective...and that it was cool. There's only so much space allowed in these thread titles... Suggest something different and I'll change it. No biggie.

It's all good...I thought it was out of character for you to be a complainer about stuff like that. I just took it wrong because it is so hard to infer vocal inflection in a typed message...My bad.

Pretty interesting idea. In fact, now I'm surprised it hadn't been done already.

Surprised nobody mentioned Jerry's comment that the Cowboys tried to get a deal done with Hamlin yesterday as well but couldn't come to an agreement. Gotta wonder how much money Hamlin wants if he wouldn't sign a contract yesterday. Assume he's not going to give us any homer discount. Maybe a deal will get done with him but just maybe he wants Al Davis kind of money & that wouldn't happen with us.

That is a very bad sign that Hamlin didnt ink yesterday. Now we are under the new rules and it is going to be even harder to sign him. I am thinking we let him walk next year, just my gut feeling.

If he is wanting to be one of the highest paid safeties in the NFL, he can walk. Safeties are like RBs, you can usually get good ones in the draft every year. No need to shoot our wad on a safety when Ware and TO need a new deal. They are alot more important than a FS.

There already is a two-level, enclosed "suite" on one of the endzone towers.

I saw a segment on it last year, complete with a tour by Jones, on one of the sunday local pregame shows.

His money, his team, his attempts to make his team even more marketable, and there for more profitable for himself.

I can't find any fault in that.
