Carpenter Out, Too

Linebacker Bobby Carpenter said his strained groin has been feeling better and that he hopes to play on Sunday against the Commanders. He was, however, held out of practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday.
If he's unable to go against the Commanders, his impact will mostly be felt on special teams where he plays on just about every unit.

As rich and as deep as the ridicule pool is for Carpenter, this is not a good thing. Losing a top special teamer, first rounder or not, on an underachieving special teams unit isn't news I want to hear right now.

Only he could miss a game despite going into a bye week completely healthy.

I just hope he's fully recovered in time to get released.

(hate those injury settlements)

Exact-a-mundo!!!

The last thing we need is a good special teams player being out of the lineup.

I hate that guy.

I really cannot wait to see him go. I don't even care if he develops elsewhere, hes wasting space in Dallas.

Hes not good. Hes a warm body and that is just about it.

Seeing as how he's been one of our leading tacklers on special teams for some time now, I think it might be fair to suggest that he's better than several of our other options. Your obvious hate for the player blinds you from the greater good. He's an asset to the special teams, as sad as that is....AND as sad as that is, losing him hurts our special teams play, despite your unwillingness to see otherwise.

I'll try to contain my disappointment. :D

Seriously, even if I were stressing, how would one even tell with all of the other melodrama that occupies this forum lately?
