AFC East Patriots

AFC North Bengals

AFC South Colts

AFC West Chargers

AFC wild cards Jets, Chiefs

NFC title game Eagles over Vikings

AFC title game Patriots (yawn) over Colts

Super Bowl Patriots over Eagles ... again

Favorite NFL rivalry It's become the Cowboys and the Eagles. The rivalry has seen snowball riots, bounties placed on a kicker, Jimmy Johnson doused with beer and Michael Irvin's career-ending injury cheered. The Cowboys now use this game as a measuring stick.

Charean Williams

NFC East Eagles

NFC North Vikings

NFC South Panthers

NFC West Seahawks

NFC wild cards Falcons, Cowboys

AFC East Patriots

AFC North Ravens

AFC South Colts

AFC West Chiefs

AFC wild cards Bills, Chargers

NFC title game Eagles over Panthers

AFC title game Ravens over Chiefs

Super Bowl Eagles over Ravens

Favorite NFL rivalry Cowboys vs. Commanders -- Roger Staubach vs. Diron Talbert, George Allen vs. Tom Landry, Clint Murchison vs. George Preston Marshall. Fans feel almost as much pride about a 54-34-1 record against the Commanders as they do the five Super Bowl titles.

Jennifer Floyd Engel

NFC East Eagles

NFC North Vikings

NFC South Panthers

NFC West Cardinals

NFC wild cards Cowboys, Falcons

AFC East Patriots

AFC North Steelers

AFC South Colts

AFC West Chargers

AFC wild cards Chiefs, Bills

NFC title game Panthers over Vikings

AFC title game Colts over Patriots

Super Bowl Colts over Panthers

Favorite NFL rivalry Colts vs. Patriots. Call me a sucker for what is hip and now, but I look forward to spending another Sunday in January on my couch watching these two teams get after it.

Clarence E. Hill Jr.

NFC East Eagles

NFC North Vikings

NFC South Falcons

NFC West Cardinals

NFC wild cards Cowboys, Panthers

AFC East Patriots

AFC North Steelers

AFC South Colts

AFC West Chiefs

AFC wild cards Chargers, Ravens

NFC title game Eagles over Falcons

AFC title game Colts over Patriots

Super Bowl Colts over Eagles

Favorite NFL rivalry Eagles vs. Cowboys: This one has more substance than Commanders-Cowboys of late because the Eagles are the standard bearer in the NFC, and Philly fans are the worst.

The funny part is all this bad stuff was done by the Eagle fans. A bunch of no class jerks and why I never want this team or fans to win a Super Bowl.

True rivalries require both teams to be good and neither to be totally dominant. Dallas has had great rivalries with Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Philly, and Washington because we've lost our fair share to all of them with something on the line and those losses have forged a visceral dislike-- both ways. Currently there is no rivalry with Washington and San Francisco because we own Washington and never play San Francisco. Pittsburgh and Dallas's last Superbowl matchup was 10 years ago, and Dallas owns Buffalo so there's no rivalry there.

There's still a rivalry with Philly because we've recently given them a couple of black eyes (2003 loss, TO injury) and this year we smell blood.

Since I am already out on my limb with the Cowboys 13-3 record prediction I am predicting that the Carolina Panthers WILL miss the playoffs this year.

Why thumbs down? Because no one picked the Cowboys in the Super Bowl?

No joke - what is with the Man Crush people have on Delhomme, and why are they going to be good?! Unreal.

Maybe, the same reason why Cowboys fans think the Cowboys will be good.

1. Strong defensive front - proven compared with the Cowboys' potential.

2. Good linebacking corp.

3. Hard hitting safety - potential with Thomas Davis, proven with Roy Williams.

4. Fiesty secondary. Manning and Gamble, who flashes potential.

5. Stability at quarterback.

6. A good back rotation, provided they stay healthy, although Eric Shelton may be a steal and provide the pound attack Fox prefers.

7. A good offensive line.

8. Wide receivers (possibly the only weakness). Steve Smith is coming back from injury, Keary Colbert was admirable for a rookie.

This was a relatively young team that made it to the Super Bowl. I don't see why they shouldn't be in contention again.

I personally think its a shame that they aren't picked to win the NFC South by anybody. Remember they finished as the hottest team in football last year, just missing the playoffs. This year they have all 14 of their players back from IR, and Nick Goings wont have to be their RB. Plust that Defense is just plain nasty. Best DE and DT in the game...

About Delhomme, the guy just doesnt kill you. He's not great, but he doesn't mess things up. Sounds exactly like what we want, run the ball, QB doesnt hurt us.

I just don't think the Igglets will fare as well as everyone thinks. Sure, they're the popular and easy pick but I think someone in the NFC comes out of the shadows of last year and the Igglets, so comfortable and arrogant, are unable to play as well as they did last year. I'd definitely say Carolina is a good candidate. In fact, I'm not sure Philly could win in the playoffs AT Atlanta either. I think there will be a lot of teams improved and a few big surprise teams. I think Philly will lose at least 2 or 3 division games this year.

I doubt GB makes it to the playoffs, they barely did last year, with a better taem. The "bad" NFC teams have gotten alot better. GB doesn't have a cakewalk divison anymore. Detroit, and Minnesota(who will win it) are bringing the heat.

Yes the Panthers have a good Defense, very good actually, but I really think that Muhammad was that important. Steve Smith is a #2, and Delhomme was very fond of Mushin. That's gonna spell trouble. Atlanta has gotten better. And Vick may not be the best QB, but he wins games, plain and simple
