What do you expect him to say? He's not throwing Roy under the bus. His first statement stands. Everyone needs to be uncomfortable. RW's job is on the line this year. He'll start out as the starter but that could change. K Hamlin's job is on the line. And Sensabaugh shouldn't get too comfortable either although I don't see anyone taking his job this year. But it could happen.

Saying Williams' job is not safe is not equivalent to throwing him under the bus. And what Jerry said is called talking out both sides of your mouth.
