WR Antonio Bryant will have his left knee scoped on tomorrow, and according to Bucs coach Raheem Morris, will hopefully be ready to play in the regular season opener against Dallas on Sept. 13. Bryant banged the knee up last season but did not miss any games. He aggravated the injury early last week but came back to make several nice plays later in the week.

The trouble with WR Antonio Bryant's left knee is his miniscus, which has led to varying degrees of swelling through camp. "The swelling has gone away, then come back, gone away, then come back," Bucs coach Raheem Morris said. "We thought it best to just get it cleaned up and get it taken care of once and for all." Morris said that WR Brian Clark, listed No. 2 on the depth chart behind Bryant, will have an opportunity to step up until Bryant returns.
don't like to hate, here, but I wouldn't mind if ol' "towel-ey" waited until week 2 to recover....
