I dont know if this has been posted yet, but I replied in another thread and thought it should go here.

Todd Grantham may not be leaving for Georgia afterall, there are alot of reports that Alabama Def Coordinator Kirby Smart is close to accepting the job here (and may have already). Smart is a UGA alum.

There had been reports for about a week that Grantham was a leading candidate for the UGA defensive coordinator job.

Georgia's been turned down by 2 or 3 very prominent names so far.

Georgia: The Tuscaloosa News is reporting Kirby Smart has formally been offered the Georgia defensive coordinator position. We hear if Smart accepts the job, Nick Saban will almost certainly talk with Tony Grantham (Dallas Cowboy defensive line) regarding the defensive coordinator job.

I think they mean Todd not Tony

Kirby Smart turned down the defensive coordinator job at UGA and is staying at Bama.

Grantham apparently is the leading candidate again.
