Just to give you the heads up. They started to stream today I think. Possibly during the Mike and the Maddog show. Lots of Yankee stuff this time of year, but good station to listen to during football season.

Yep...Mike and the Maddog is as good a show as I've heard.

Their knowledge of sports is amazing...great recall...

And they have many great contacts. Some HUGE names have appeared on their show.

It is well worth the listen.

it's amazing how they can recall who pitched the 8th inning in a baseball game 23 years ago but they (especiall Chris) will mispronounce and butcher names of their guests sitting with them in the studio. LOL.

Maddog is an idiot...Mike F. is a cool guy tho.

Maddog is more of a tennis fan than anything...He's a San Fran Giants fan and he cheers every time the Mets or Yankees lose. I can't stand the guy personally but the show is entertaining due to Mike and his history in Sports...I think Mike was an intern for Jimmy the Greek back in the CBS sports days.

ouch Chris russo is intolerable. He is the worst of the worst.

Mike francessa is a good guy and very sports savy, but russo is just an airbag. That guy makes me want to scream when he talks.

I disagree about Russo.

Yep, he makes me nutz too.

BUT that's his role.

If you had to listen ONLY to Francesa, the show would be a TOTAL bore.

And...Russo also does the..."Right, that game was in 1957. Spahn stuck out the last three batters he faced...." stuff. He has great recall.

He is the spark plug on that show.

Again, don't get me wrong, he makes me nutz but he's far from a bafoon...even though at times, he sounds like one.

Juke is right on... Russo is annoying but that is his role... he's almost like an idiot savant too. He can't even order Burger King drive thru properly for his kids ... just listen when he comes back from vacation or his wife is sick or he has to spend the afternoon with them... funny stuff. He seems to have lived a very sheltered life too but he has memorized stats and players for decades and decades.

They dwell on basketball (college and nba) too much but they keep listeners coming back and stick to sports not "guy talk" and other nonsense that is not sports. I used to wish they talked NHL more but they are so ignorant of that sport I much prefer NOT to have them try and even discuss hockey
