I think we should kick the tires on this one.

The Buffalo Bills released offensive lineman Quinton Spain, the team announced Wednesday.

The Bills signed Spain to a one-year deal in 2019, when he started all 16 games at left guard -- playing every snap without allowing a sack. He signed a three-year contract with the team this offseason and opened the 2020 season as Buffalo's starter.

No, just saw his name on ESPN's wire at the bottom, so he must be ok enough to make it on there, lol. Plus he gave up no sacks last year. He has to be better then what we have right now.

Progress stopper.

Well, in our case....getting in the way of McGovern's snaps.

Progress doesnt happen in Dallas....unless you count Jerry's popularity rating.

He's not athletic.

I though McGovern was OK. Would like to see him continue to get time.

I focused on McGovern a bit in the game, I think "OK" is generous but you can see the physical skills and the upside. I really had high hopes for him this year but IMO its clearly the Ron Leary thing of a guy with the physical skills who hasn't had the light go on yet.

I did as well. McGovern looks like he hasn’t even seen the weight room btw.

I am all for it, Dallas is Super thin on the line and they dang sure have to shore up the line. The game is won in the trenches and the team is left wanting.
Go Dallas!!!

Agree, but he has the frame to add weight for sure. If Erving can't go this week I would really think about putting Martin at LT and McGovern at RG though.

We just need capable bodies at this point on the bench. If we suffer another injury anywhere, things get interesting...in a scary way. For now, hopefully Martin can play OT. Biadasz, McGovern and Williams inside.

Depends how close Looney is.

It was his first game action.

They seem to be in love w Steele at RT as opposed to moving Martin.

Personally I'd look into Williams at LT but that's apparently not gonna happen either.

But HEY....the Dallas FO and staff ALWAYS get it right dont they?

we must

We're going to have to place a stationary dummy on the line to offer some resistance at the rate our linemen are dropping like flies. Dang thing would still probably fall over and get a false start though.

Mount the tire on the car and balance later.
