Really? Only 3 huh? So the other 10 guys playing on defense tonight that were not even on the roster in week 1 are now considered starters because they have been forced to start a game this year? Interesting spin.

This defense hasn't played well since this outdated scheme was implemented.

I don't care who was or wasn't out there.

Even proven players suddenly look lost out there.

This is yet another example of the game evolving and passing by someone who can't evolve along with it.

It makes me sick to see how well Rob Ryan is doing here in New Orleans. He certainly didn't do that well for us. Point being, I'm not sure if Kiffin is the problem or if it's something else. I'd almost bet it's something else.

It all starts with the GM who acquires the personnel and hires the coaches. That said, if you have a scheme that doesn't work without a particular type of front four, and you don't have that front four, then you should be doing something else with your scheme. Football 101.

Exactly. And there's only one thing our GM understands....making money (not football).

We are missing Spencer, Ratliff and Durant. That's it. Wilcox was promoted to starter--he didn't get the job due to injury. Scandrick is better than Claiborne--so hard to say that's a negative. Yes, there are injuries, but no worse than what many teams have to deal with week in and week out in this league and yet many remain competitive. We didn't stop them one time. Stop the excuse making.
