Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Jessica Simpson's family "love" her new boyfriend.
The singer started dating American Football star Tony Romo last month and friends say he has already impressed his potential in-laws.
A source said, "Jessica thinks he is hot! He's a really nice guy and herfamily loves him."
Last week, Jessica hired a private jet to fly her to see Tony after she had filmed a Disney special in Florida.
The source added, "Jessica was a little nervous but was so happy to seehim."
The smitten pair spent Thanksgiving with Jessica's family and are set toattend her best friend Cacee Cobb's birthday party on Saturday night.
A friend said, "She wants all her friends to meet him. They are going takeit easy and hang out at Jessica's house."
It was recently revealed Jessica was set up on a date with Tony by her dad Joe, after he realized the pair were perfect for each other.
A source said, "Joe and Tony have been friendly for a while. Joe is a hugeDallas Cowboys fan, and Tony has always had a crush on her - he even said on his website about a year ago that it was his dream to date her."
"Jessica has been in Nashville and Dallas recording her new country album. When Tony found out, he called Joe and said, 'I know she's not dating anyone right now, can I take her out for a drink at least?"
"Jessica said it was OK for Joe to give Tony her number and they hit it off. They've been dating for a couple of weeks now, and Jessica is so happy.She's been texting everyone about how great he is."
Jessica was previously married to singer Nick Lachey.

The singer and football star were seen Saturday at Los Angeles nightclub Teddy's, celebrating Cacee Cobb's 30th birthday, according to a report by People.

Jessica, wearing a little black dress and heels, celebrated her friend's birthday with Tony and Donald Faison from "Scrubs" in a private booth.
The hot new couple reportedly kept things mellow throughout the night, until suddenly the two kissed in the middle of the packed club.

The couples' PDA comes on the heels of Jessica bringing the Dallas Cowboys QB home to meet her family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Just a day before Romo met the Simpson clan in Texas, Jessica cheered on Romo from a skybox as he battled the New York Jets on Thanksgiving Day.
Jessica is just the latest starlet who has been romantically linked to the football star. Romo was previously linked to "Idol" country star Carrie Underwood and "One Tree Hill" siren Sophia Bush.

After reportedly spending Thanksgiving together, are the Texas twosome taking their relationship to the next level with some very public displays of affection?
Yes! The duo were caught sneaking out of Jess' pal Cacee Cobb's 30th birthday party Saturday night at hotspot Teddy's. After Jess reportedly loosened up with a few vodka drinks, "Extra" spies caught the pair making out.

At first, the singer – wearing a form-fitting black dress and spike heels – and her new beau kept things low-key in a secluded booth. But as the night wore on, the two were spotted with their arms around each other. Then, after a few seconds of conversation, they leaned in for a kiss – right in the middle of the crowded club.
Romo and the Cowboys played on Thursday night against the Packers so the team was off this weekend. Romo took advantage of the time to fly to Los Angeles and romance the ‘Newlyweds’ star.
Romo has also been romantically linked with country singer Carrie Underwood.

Jessica Simpson and the NFL star flirted up a storm Saturday at Hollywood nightclub Teddy's, as the two helped Simpson's BFF, Cacee Cobb, celebrate her 30th birthday.
At first, the singer – wearing a form-fitting black dress and spike heels – and her new beau kept things low-key in a secluded booth. But as the night wore on, the two were spotted with their arms around each other. Then, after a few seconds of conversation, they leaned in for a kiss – right in the middle of the crowded club.
Also on hand for the bash were Cobb's Scrubs-star boyfriend, Donald Faison, and Simpson's mane man, Ken Paves.
Last month, Simpson and Romo, both 27, shared Thanksgiving dinner in Dallas. The Cowboys star has previously dated Carrie Underwood, Britney Spears and Sophia Bush.
