He has been kind of banged up I think. Can't seem to stay 100% healthy.
He had some games where he made some plays early on, but not a lot since then. But then again stats and amount of tackles do not tell the complete story. however as a DT, you need to stop the run.
Therefore the lack of tackles, may be part of it. I have not looked at his stats yet to say for sure.

I would not say he is in the doghouse, and who knows about why people do on twitter as they do. Maybe he think he is going to be traded or inactive and is not happy.

I won't read anything into it at this point. Just as a team get the run defense fixed. I don't care who is out there playing.

Broaddus said that but Stephen said that it’s a week to week deal for a lot of these guys due to matchup’s. He was dealing with a wrist so they sat him last week. They’ve been doing this a lot it seems.

We were typing about the same thing at the same time.
Your description sums it up better than mine...about matchups....

- If remembering a guy we had back in the Wade Phillip days in DT Tank Johnson, we had heard from coaches even on Hard Knocks, in how while they loved
Tank's immense physical talent, he also had tendency to " play his own defense " ... he would freelance...he's even running into his own players lanes...

- That's lane integrity and assignments. Whether Gap or Rush - coaches hate blown assignments and players out of position - and how much of it is a constant ?
A frequency ?

- Is the same happening to Gallimore ?
It's one thing if it's a wrist injury that has him inactive.. it's another if he is not even thought of as a rotational guy.
If he's indeed healthy enough to play,,, and they don't even want him on the playing field, even as a backup.. that's gonna be real bad news.

- If there's indeed truth to rumored animosity between Gallimore and the coaches, ...Whether trade or outright cut, he's Not gonna be on this team next year, imo.

* * And to think many here were so convinced (determined?) that Trysten Hill was gonna be the coach-killer- and flat wanted him off this team.. Pronto !!

Removed the Cowboys from his Twitter description. Now just says Ottawa, Ontario.

The acquisition of Hankins.

Something seems up.

We will hear EVERYTHING IS FINE HE'S NOT BEING TRADED, then you'll see him included in the deal to get a WR

I see it more as some players must be inactive. And sometimes they need players at a certain position for strategy over others.
We will see going forward.

No it's this staff not holding onto players just because they're nice etc, not doing good, time to get demoted or traded

DTs like Bohanna banged up with neck-shoulder injuries, and that's the interior trench where guys get rolled up and injured all the time,
You have to have backups ready and in the mix.. at the very least.

- And to take that we're already weak and suffering vs the run, but yet we're de-activating our most experienced guys, and those supposed to be the young future and yet we're
bringing up a practice squader Watkins to replace Gallimore ?

- If it's Not for the sake of injury,.. this is not good news. That's an sounding alarm, imo

IT seemed MM was worried about the timing of his wrist "injury", he missed practice most of the week and rolled into Saturday practice ready to practice.

Could be, but Watkins is not just some PS player learning. If not for a numbers game he would have made the 53 man roster.
They keep a young player like Gallimore with upside at that point. And other teams do so as well, so therefore it was safe to keep Watkins on the PS. Unless injuries decimate another team, he should be safe though.
