So, what is this mysterious "illness"??

Some weird viruses circulating right now. The one I have has been causing a sore throat for a week, but so far no other typical cold symptoms.

That flu is going around crazy. I had to go to the emergency room Monday because I couldn't keep anything down for 4 days, and was super dehydrated. I still feel weak, and have a bad cough. 4 out of 5 in our household got it.

Sore and dry throat, cough and a lot of sinus issues. But I have an ongoing sinus issue anyway.
Though much better now. Cough pretty much gone but sinus issue still there.
Just got home from my doctor.
Annual check up and blood work. So this worked out to ask about this as well.

She was not concerned. Even people in the office having same stuff. Said to keep doing what I have been doing since I been improving. Did suggest to get more vitamin D other than my daily vitamin.
Just needs to run its course. I know a lot of people having it. Last from several days up to 3 weeks.

The "Flu Game" was in fact suspected food poisoning from a pizza he ordered the night before.

But he was probably out at the casinos too.

I take 4,000 IU's of Vitamin D a day.

I think it helps. Had flu-like symptoms a couple of weeks ago, but were relatively minor.

A ton of people I know have a stomach bug and several have the flu as well. Texas actually currently has more reported flu cases to the CDC than most other states.
