A ton of people I know have a stomach bug and several have the flu as well. Texas actually currently has more reported flu cases to the CDC than most other states.

Yeah....we have a lot of patients here at my hospital with the flu!! It's really bad right now!! I live in Texas too!!

I take 4,000 IU's of Vitamin D a day.

I think it helps. Had flu-like symptoms a couple of weeks ago, but were relatively minor.

Be careful because too much Vitamin D is toxic. It’s not water soluble like Vitamin C.

Had to take my sis to the hospital per her Dr. visit Tuesday & it was packed. She called her Dr. who recommended going home & calling an ambulance to by-pass the lines.

We did that, but the ambulance said that most of the Dallas hospitals weren't accepting ambulances. The only place they were authorized to take her was Parkland hospital, which is the county hospital.

I'm sure if she had some kind of wound, etc. there wouldn't of been any problem.

Its called the FLU. Many people are sick now with the usual things that go around at this time of year, not just football players. They haven't said anything about the virus. So its just the same old same old crap we are all hoping to not catch.

had my 15 year old at the Doctors tonight, and she has a heep of stuff. Started out being exposed to a dog (she has allergies), and has progressed into a fever/flu combo. She is a Rep Hockey Player and has suggested she misses one of her games this weekend, and this never is the case. So much crap going around it's crazy
