He really came into his own over the past few weeks. Putting together the skills he teased.

He looks like a stud in his own right, but coupled with Amari I have high hopes.

And can we just focus on the positives and not drag Dak into it. Please?

Need another slot guy and then a TE. Set on the outside for many years.

I thought he and Dak worked really well together over the course of the season. The Cooper addition paid dividends for the entire team. I also think that Jarwin and Schultz have come into their own as well. Gallup will look even better next year as well. This team has to commit to the off-season of working out and becoming better at executing plays.

The future is bright.

It seems like there is a good pool to grab from this year. May have to use our first pick in the draft to secure one but value could line up

I think Cooper and Gallup could be a 1/1A kind of pairing soon. They compliment each other well.

Cooper plays better than Gallup of course but it feels like we're just scratching the surface on both of them.

I think a full offseason of Dak, Cooper, and Gallup all working together will have a huge pay off in 2019. I think Dak is always going to be a guy to throw a few head scratchers here and there but it'll be ok if these 3 consistently pull down the volume they show in flashes.

Gallop is my pet cat of this years draft.

Yeah Gallup is just starting to scratch the surface he really grew in the latter part of the season.
Also great he had Amari to help him refine his footwork and routes.
They are going to be a great tandem. A TE threat will help them even more.

You also have to feel good about TE in the passing game, considering how we felt the hour Witten retired less than one year ago.

Jarwin and Swaim both look like they'll certainly be good TE2s in the passing game and each gave reason to believe they could potentially reach dynamic TE1 status. This draft is supposed to be deep at TE and if we entered May with Swaim, Jarwin, and a quality prospect on the projected 53, I'd feel great about the one year turnaround and the path moving forward.

Lots of things to feel good about in the passing game and for whatever happened on Saturday, you can't say the passing game is the reason we lost.

It's almost impossible to believe how far the passing game came in 18 games this year, and how much roster turnover in the last year went into it.

Yeah what got lost was Gallup’s arrival yesterday. To get that type of value in the 3rd? Impressive. His ceiling may be higher than a 2nd receiver.

One enormous positive from yesterday for sure. Gallup looks like he's going to be a legitimate weapon going into next year.

TE is a need but don't know about getting a "slot guy". I think finding a solid 3rd WR, not necessarily for the slot would be better. I would like a guy that doesn't have size limitations so we could rotate Amari, Gallup or New guy in the slot and still be a credible threat outside. Amari is a beast from the slot and Gallup in his development can be as well and adding a 3rd guy that can rotate and play from any position would bring a lot of flexibility and create mismatches much more easily. I would like to see more of Gallup in the slot, I can see him develop into a Keenan Allen type WR, that can give us explosive plays from the slot or outside.

This x 100

I said the same thing watching him live last night. If we can somehow land Renfrow from Clemson to play the slot this team would be one of the most talented at the position in the leauge. Beasley as much as i love him doesn't seem to want to be in Dallas, its noticeable in his effort.

Gallup needs to polish his route running, how to sell routes, set up defenders, footwork, etc. With Sanjay's help and some mentoring from Amari, he could become a bigger threat. Just getting experience and learning the NFL and learning defenders and he will continue to improve.

Agreed. Speed and size would be nice. But speed and route running are the two biggest for me.

Get a new OC who won't try to limit Dak's best abilities and get an OC who can use Gallup/Cooper together to exploit defenses.

Like what? Running right at Aaron Donald? Thats never going to work. Zeke tried it 15-20 times.
