Twitter: Gallup will play Monday Night

Next question is how capable have WRs been while coming back from an ACL this early?

Might look a lot like Chris Godwin's return for Tampa two weeks earlier: 3 for 35 and hurt again, but I certainly hope not.

Hard to say due to the variance from person to person as well as annual advancements in ACL surgery and recovery.

I will say that Gallup did have a newer surgery that is supposed to allow the player to heal quicker, hence the quicker turn around time than the usual 9-12 months.

Highly skeptical about this time line to return and play well but here is hoping.

I'm not really too concerned. Gallup has always struck me as a warrior, and I don't think the injury will get in his head. He'll play limited snaps, of course, but it'd be stupid not to limit them. The snaps he plays I expect him to go at close to 100%.

Deep threat. But can Rush throw 40 yards?

I doubt it . The Front Offices’s official maximum throwing distance is 35 yards for any Cowboys backup quarterback

No need to have any threat for the starter.

Good thing was it wasn't his knee. But...that may be the difference in an extra two weeks. Getting in better game shape will help prevent that situation from occurring, hopefully.
