Denver has a blitz happy pass rush. Dak and copy are working this week on how to counter that blitz attack. I think it will be interesting to see how that plays out. Slot will be important position, IMO to keep an eye on. I would love to see Beas and Switz working the slot from both sides at the same time.

Denver's run defense is not as good as their secondary.

Rotate the backs early and often, control the clock, stay ahead of the chains, and don't turn it over.

Notoriously, we do.

Are you assuming that since the Cowboys won, that they don't still struggle against the 3-4? SF is SF; they aren't very good, regardless of scheme. The Ravens game was close; 10 of the Cowboys 10 point lead in the end came from the fourth quarter. Against the Steelers, the Cowboys took the lead with 14 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Just because the Cowboys won, doesn't mean they don't tend to struggle.

But, again, that has been my observation.

We scored 27 points against Baltimore and 35 points against Pitt. Sure the games were close but that was not because we struggled against their defense. We were over the season average against each opponent.

Playing at Mile High will definitely be a problem,i think they should consider rotating Dbacks too.Ray is on IR but his backup is pretty good. They run blitz a lot and thats where Dak should get them with his legs.ultimately though we win if we impose our running game throughout the game.

What's your Gameplan???
Forget all those trick plays. You play to your strength every single game. That is what gives you the best chance of winning. The Cowboys gameplan for winning is pretty simple and everyone knows what it is. In the end, they usually win.

Honestly this is why Zeke is so important to this offense. Denver is going to have to always commit to stopping him so it is going to open up the game for Dak. I see another 30 runs to 30 passes like most games and we control the game. If our defense plays like last time, we won't be running 40 times but will be passing it 40 again. They are not going to run Zeke into the ground. Mcfadden may be active this week instead.

Fair point. "Struggle" may have been the wrong word, though, scheme can only do so much against the talent collection the Cowboys offense has.

Regardless of the semantics argument, my opinion remains the same. I would like to see the Cowboys implement some RPO elements to their attack against the Broncos; that could help negate some of the disguises their defense will be wearing presnap throughout Sunday.

If Leary can't play their back-up Billy Turner looks shaky. He was cut from the Colts for giving up 3 sacks in one game. This could be a big game for Collins. You could run some stunts for Lawrence to get in there, too.

Use the no-huddle and wear them down, just finish in the redzone. And by no-huddle I don't mean pass, pass, pass...run our offense just increase the tempo. And the altitude excuse is just that and excuse. I reffed basketball in the state playoffs in Flagstaff at almost 7,000 feet and didn't feel the difference.
