Jay Ratliff!!!!!!!!

Man, did he play lights out against the run the last few minutes of the game or what? This second thought, 6th rd. pick from Auburn has been one of our best value picks. He makes good money playing full bore every down, and, like Smith-Barney, he Earns It. He has played a big man's position with a DE's body, and has shown up big time every game.

Hats off to ya, man. Here's your game ball.

i think if you give game balls to anyone for sure today i give one to Gurode and to Kosier

two key fumble recoveries, Gurode on Barber's early fumble, and obviously the Kosier recovery..

they deserve game balls just for those 2 plays

yeah, sorry but no game ball for any defenders. They SUCKED today. I was wondering what Tank was doing in there so much early in the game too; because he was getting blown off the ball by Raiola. Just painful to watch: GLAD we won, but let's face it: Hanson's miss and Kosier and Gurode's fumble recoveries saved us.

You can't lump the whole defense together. I was just watching the Lions 3 & 9 where the pass rush finally got through, and, sure enough, it was Ratliff coming up the middle, who caused Kitna to misfire. A player who stuffs 2-3 running plays, & puts enough pressure on the QB to cause him to misfire on the most crucial third down play of the game deserves a game ball. Without him today, we lose this game. Period.

I give this a definite....maybe.

Yeah, he made some nice plays. But, he also ran himself past the ball carrier in run defense alot, or so it seemed. It was clear we were not thinking run - at all.

I agree with Cogan. Ratliff was the only one on defense making plays. The rest of them sucked today.

Ratliff brought back memories of Leon Lett. I also think we should put aside the missed FG, seeing as we more than made up for it by fumbling on the 1-yard line.

Witten anyone? The fumble on the one was bad and all, but I think he kind of made up for it with the game winning touchdown. He played pretty well, sans the fumble and a badly missed block.

No way the offense gets a ball as a whole! They not only didn't show up the first half, but put Dallas in some bad spots this game which cost us some points. They owe the defense for making them be out on the field for so long. Only individuals get a ball from my perspective. I didn't particularly care for Garrett's calling of the first half either. You just can't run Jones up the middle and keep doing it in the first half while their defense is still fresh. Who is Jones going to run over? Nobody!

Kosier.

Without his recovery, this place still be "Under Maintenance."

Witten had FIFTEEN catches today: ties record of Kellen Winslow Sr. in 1984. I wasn't mad at him at all when he fumbled. He, Romo and Barber can do no wrong in my book. I'm still seething at the defense though.

This has to be the post of the day: He played pretty well, sans the fumble and a badly missed block....

Let me tell you friend, Witten played one heII of a game. Probably the best game of his career. He will be the NFL offensive player of the Week, or the whole award is fixed. If Witten misses two plays, then he made at least thirty.

Romo and Witten are the heros this week.
