Game Challenge

We are at this time of year when reality blurs.

Fans take sides. Negative and positive.

But rarely do people ever actually go back and watch the game.

You know, the thing that unfolded. The actual game.

What really is the real deal.

Not the emotional response. Not the homerism and excuse making for your favorite player. Not the anger against that one player you really just have never liked.

I finally found the courage to watch the Seattle game again.

And let me just say it was painful.

This thread should be only for those who have the game, and can watch it again.

And discuss.

And THEN, defend their positions.

There are several things that stuck out to me.

But I will reserve those for now.

Watch the Seattle game.

Discuss amongst yourselves.
I have a life. So, I'll pass for now. Get out and enjoy the sunshine!

I watched it and saw a clinic on blitzing. Carroll and company can coach. Our Oline coach needs to be canned immediately. I hate our offense, I truly do. The Hawks blitzed a lot and we are running these long slow comebacks, and out routes. It's maddening! No one over the middle.......thanks Alex! Fire JG now please!!!!!!!

This is a very good, football intellectual challenge.
So I'm going to defer all queries and gained knowledge to my exceedingly able assistant @Alexander .

Great idea!

Dizzle my nizzle!

This is how threads get sidetracked. Lay off that here.

I regret I fumbled the thread concept. But the idea is, watch the game again. Now, without the emotion after the fact. And then try to describe what you see.

You are a smart enough guy Proximo.

Try it.

I know I have a thing towards a player or two and I watch and say, hold on. He might not suck.
I see a team that is way too predictable on offense. When Prescott is under center, the ball is going to Elliott. It's just a matter of is the run to the left or to the right.

I see a team that almost refuses to take advantage of their home field. Did you know that this team is 12-4 on the road the past 2 years? That's great. But why does this team seem to disinterested at home?

Back to the Seattle game. Constant breakdowns when in scoring position resulting field goals instead of TD's.

Too predicatable and lack of execution at critical times in the game.

The defense was good. But Seattle is a one man offense.

@Alexander is a respected man here. I poke, but he knows I'm one of his biggest fans on this board.
It will be cold days in Hell if he ever leaves.

I, personally, will be heartbroken.

I would commend you for this post and give you a like.

But I see the rules say I can only do that if you say dilly dilly.

In all seriousness, good post.

Dilly dilly.

If you declare you are going sober, I leave. Promise.

Solid.

I am actually watching William Munny killing Little Bill.
I'm watching Ruby, Rifftrax'd on Amazon Prime.
So far it's gone from gangster movie to Friday the 13th slasher to now full on Exorcist.

This is utterly amazing...
