Garrett was never the core issue. He was a VERY LARGE issue, but not the core one, nonetheless. We all know what the core issue is. It’s Jerry. And unfortunately, we cannot fire him.

I’m not sure Garrett wasn’t helping the dysfunctional organization off the field more than he was hurting it on the field.

Right . But this isn’t just about the Giants .

It’s about that our coaching with Garrett doesn’t appear to have been our core issue which many felt it was and blamed Garrett.
Our current coaching is actually not supporting that case.

Oh give it a break diehard. MM lost his QB and the whole OL was decimated, not to mention the injuries on the defense.
In 2015 Garrett lost his QB for most of the season and won 4 games all season! Sound familiar? DUH.
But when MM's QB and OL is literally decimated, you want to compare that to Garrett going a lousy 5-7 in the worst division in the entire league? Garrett's 10 years of mediocrity with the Cowboys stunk. Period. And if MM does as poorly as Garrett did, they'll fire him too, and it won't take 10 years like it did with Garrett.
