SD may play their starting unit for 1-2 drives in the 1st period.

Recall that we went 0-4 in preseason last year.

I'm most excited to see how our pass rush looks with Greg Hardy (assuming he's playing tonight). Our defense could be so nasty once Hardy/McClain are off suspension. Think about it... the only somewhat questionable guys starting on defense are Carr and Wilcox. Other than that we have a bunch of studs.

And that's not including Claiborne, Mincey and B-Jones who will rotate in a lot. I think if everything goes well our defense can finish ranked in the 10-12 range overall.
