First of all thanks for letting me be part of this board during the buildup to this game. I enjoyed learning more about your team and awnsering questions about the Vikings.

I obviously loved the outcome of this game. Although I was pretty nervous in the beginning. Romo moved the ball with ease the first 2 drives the little things stalled momentum for the Cowboys. The Vikings first drive was a 3 and out with a Ware sack. I thought oh boy this is going to be a long one for the Vikes.

Big plays piled up for the Vikings and as the Cowboys got behind they had to ditch the run game (they were dominating ) and would have been interesting to see if they could have stuck with it more what the outcome would have been.

As I predicted I felt the Cowboys were flirting a fine line with being over confident after beating the eagles back to back.

It clearly carried over to this game. Miles Austin celebrating after 7 yd catches. Marion Barber going ape **** after a 4-5 yd run....I have no issue celebrating...as long as there is a reason to celebrate. Routine play celebration make you look like an idiot and those 2 certainly did

From an outsiders perspective it was clear this team still has the TO syndrome and some of the players are in it for themselves and personal success.

This Cowboy team is highly talented I think they had a coach that was a strong leader and fostered a strong team atmosphere and instead of all the me me stuff going on you guys would be a lot better.

We got our butts whooped by the better team. I didnt like the fact that you guys racked the score up when the game was over. But what can you say, the entire Cowboy nation is down about the loss. But no excuses the better team won.

Had our offensive line managed to hold up for more than 1 or 2 seconds per snap I believe the Cowboys easily handle the Vikings. Sorry, but unless they can do the same thing to the Saints I simply see no way the Vikes are going to go into New Orleans and win the game. The Vikings are not in the same league as the Saints are and it'll show come Sunday.

If Brees has time to throw, they can hang 70 points on the porous Vikings secondary.

This is a bad matchup for the Vikings.

If Favre throws a pick he better not try to make the tackle either.

And dude its the NFL every team has a chance. You should know that first hand. No one thought the Boys could go into New Orleans and win and they did it was the rallying point of your season

The game is about matchups. This is typical Viking fan logic. Just because you beat Dallas soundly, and Dallas beat the Saints, it doesn't mean that the Vikings have the same, or better chance to beat them.

The Saints WRs versus the Vikings secondary should make you cringe, and will likely send your guys packing after this coming Sunday.

The Saints have a much better secondary.

If the Vikings don't get the same pressure on Brees that they got on Romo, then they have no chance in this game.

I predict he'll be hittin' the commode mid 1st quarter.

Wow when did I say that I never used that logic at all.

I was merely stating you cant give a team ZERO chance. Its an NFL team you might think they slim chances but zero come on man you should know better than that. People gave your team zero chance and they won....I am by no means using that logic. I hate when people use that logic games are played as they are played not from previous opponents games.

How you got that I dunno man...but yes I agree the Saints are a bad matchup for the Vikings. The only way the D keeps alive is to have that same sort of pressure

Honestly I think Sanford was a clown for making trashing your KR and the vets on the team chewed him out.

I think the late TD was uncalled for and they should have never done that. I think partialy it was done to boost Favre's playoff stats and maybe payback for you guys running it up on the Eagles (Chilldress old team and Reids best friend).

Also I think since the Vikings played awful down the stretch they were trying to build some confidence back up.

All horrible justifications and I dont agree with it. I feel it was classless and bad taste and risked injury to players.

Interesting since we scored our final points with a few minutes left in the 3rd quarter and called off the dogs in the 4th when it was clear we had the game won. We didn't add meaningless field goals, we didn't try passing our way down there to score again with 2 minutes left.

So, no, it wasn't for the Eagles. It was nothing more than your coach simply showing his total lack of class and integrity.

And you'll have to provide some video evidence of this supposed vets on the team getting on him for celebrating cause I don't recall seeing that happening, ever.

Hey, did you watch our game with the Eagles? We ran the ball into the line then took a knee. What are you talking about?

Silly little things like facts will not get in the way of some people just wanting to post things that make it clear they're talking out their rear ends.

You are not who I was talking about.... and yes I get it.

Yeah you got it all right. You knew exactly how to get yourself banned and did a great job of doing that.

Congratulations. Your one of the dumbest fans to come here ever.

This team is about as far from me first as it gets.

The vikings however, SHowed in spades what they are all about. From the head coach to the quarterback.

SO again congratulations. You were the better team. You have won 1 playoff game since 2001, just like Dallas has.

The difference? Our quarterback isnt retiring and isnt from our arch rival.

Good luck the next two, cause if you dont win it all its right back to tavaris jackson, and you are not going to win the division with what green bay has in place with tavaris jackson.

Please continue to gloat, its as classy as your quarterback and head coach.

oh and karma is a real kick in the pants. Wade ohillips is a well respected man and in time what was pulled late in that game will come back on you by many.

This what? "This" is a vague and totally meaningless post?

I don't get all these replies of just "this" that I see here. What's up with that? Frigging stupid IMHO.

As for the original poster: Congratulations to your Vikings. I hope you go on to win it all, so that we know we got beat by the Champs. And if you do manage to win it all, you guys will finally have a Lombardi trophy. Not that I really want Minnesota ever to have one...I love the 0-4 record of the Vikings in the SB...the Vikings are just lucky nobody has managed to come up with a joke like what happened with Buffalo, who are also 0-4 in the SB: "How do you spell Bills? B-I-L-L-L-L-S."

These Vikings fans are bending over backwards just to not see the truth of the matter...

They just cheered for Brett Favre... The single most hated person in Vikings history... They just cheered after he decided to pass and run up the score... One of the big reasons they hated him so much, for doing that very same thing to them...

Talk about the ultimate Irony.

Act like you have one a big game before. Oh wait, they havn't. And it shows.

Vikes front 4 should dominate Saints' OL just as easily as they did the Cowboys' OL. The differene may be in the OCs. Can Payton slow the rush down, if he can, then the Saints have a good chance. If not, Vikes may romp again.

The Saints O-Line pass protects far better than ours does. I don't think they'll dominate them quite the same way.

Not when they played us. Spencer should of had 4 sacks that game, and a healthy Ware would have had just as many. As it is both were credited w/2 sacks a piece. But our front 7 put the smack down on Brees that day, hitting almost as often (if not as hard) as the Vikes hit Romo.

To the guy saying the vikings have only won one playoff game since 2001

Erronous erronous on both accounts!!! We have won 2 We actually beat Brett Favre & the Packers in a 2003 wild card upset.

Man at first I thought it was not very classy to run up the score, but the more you guys cry and complain I am Ok with it.

Some of you talk about Karma. Well Karma arrived to Mr. Brooking who earlier mocked and acted horrible to his former team the Falcons earlier this year.

And then there is this cheap shot which is truly classless and BS

Hmmm thats why Barber was going nuts after running 4 yds

Maybe Austin should save celebrations for plays that are big or touchdowns.

They looked like clowns.... It was all about them not the Cowboys. Austin is a dicisple of TO and it shows....sorry truth hurts I guess

This is a pretty weak argument and, frankly, makes you look like a fool. So a receiver who has never, ever asked for more passes to be directed his way, hasn't given himself a cool nickname, doesn't have a patented TD celebration, etc. ... is the next T.O. because he pumps his fists after a catch? Hilarious.

Oh, but I bet you had no problem with Favre racing up and down the field with arms sky high after seemingly every completion. One of your (misguided) mindset might say a 40-year-old should act like he's been there before.

You guys whipped our butts yesterday, but I can say with supreme confidence that a few pumpings of fist and beatings of chest had nothing to do with it.

Let me put it to you this way: If Austin gets up from catching his passes and coolly walks to the huddle following his four or five catches, that doesn't magically put 32 points up on the scoreboard for us.

This team's mindset is fine. It just wasn't man enough up front to contain a ****** Vikings pass rush.
