boise tends to lull vs crap teams, but when they play great teams they show up, they deserve to be in the BCS hunt as long as they win, it doesnt matter by how much
when is Harsin going to teach the Horns receivers how to pick defenders when the ball is in the air?

I thought it was the end of the Boise game not the first half. :laugh2: :rake:

I would have a lot more respect for big D1 football if there was a playoff format.

I'll take the Texas/USC game of the century over this abortion of an excuse for offense game of the century.

god im so tired of all this SEC is amazing crap! if OU gets in i will cheer for them! i wish colt hadnt gotten hurt vs bama! would have been a different game

5 of the last 6 championships came from the sec. Your envy/hate for them makes you look like an eagles fan right now. Get a hold of yourself!!

how many championships did they win before that? they have had a good run, but its eventually going to end, i doubt OU, OSU, Michingan, USC, Texas, Etc are just gonna play for second until the end of eternity. your analogy is more like the eagles are the SEC and the rest of college football is the rest of the NFC east in the early 2000s

well for now the sec has bragging rights until someone else wins. And you cry over them getting so much credit as if it isnt deserved.

they deserve all the credit in the world and somehow Gary Danielson and Verne Lundquist manage to give them 10 times more than that.

SEC is a juggernaut... no doubt...

Right now I am LOVING this run offense for UT...

Everything is cyclical... this is the SEC time...

It's not just the past 5 years, you can look back at the last 20 championships and the SEC has almost half of them. What other conference has been that good over that span? The SEC has the most history/stability as a whole too. They're the best conference right now...this was supposed to be a down year for them and yet they still have the two best teams in the country

this is all im saying, im not "crying" about anything, i just think its silly that these espn experts keep trying to force feed us the idea that these two teams HAVE to play for the championship! its absurd, the whole point of college football not having a playoff system is that the regular season IS the postseason, if thats the case, alabama should be eliminated unless LSU loses twice and doesnt win the division.

the way this will end is the same way dominance always does, they will lose along the way to a huge underdog, just like nebraska did to miami, miami did to ohio state, USC did to texas and so on. But if you dont let teams that deserve to be there, teams that won all their games, compete to dethrone them, how are we gonna see anything different?

Boise arrived on the scene by beating OU as huge underdogs, Utah by beating Pitt, if Boise or Okie state or Stanford are ever going to ascend to that level, we have to let them do it on the field, not by saying "oh these are the two best teams in my opinion, and based on past results of this conference, so they will play in the title game!"

college football has been played for longer than 20 years, like all things this will eventually end, im not sayin the SEC is going to become the big east, but they arent going to continue winning titles at a %50 clip for the rest of eternity.

Good thoughts overall.

Mavs > Spurs

I don't know how many times I have this argument with people. I HATE college overtime. NFL does it right, go big or go home.

I think I would just have a modification on the NFL rule. Both teams get the ball once no matter what then have it change to sudden death. I don't really care for a coin toss deciding a game.

What I didn't like about that game last night. No QB play at all by either team. Sorry that's not the mark of a great team. Both teams have kick *** defenses but if you don't have any QB play at all you will have a tough time winning championship games.
