It was only close so the advertisers wouldn't be mad. And gullible fans still gambling until the end makes Draft Kings and Fan Duel happy.
The 49'ers locked it up early. The comeback was an illusion.
Sure looked like the td drive was fixed. Lamb was open by 15 yards, and they went right down the field.

Dak should have had 4 INTs today. He is a deer in headlights. He helps the other team more than his own.

Dak is going to have a 6 int day this year. One of these games the other team isn't going to drop 3 or 4 freebies in addition to the 2 or 3 picks they do make.

That was stupidl disgusting. Hell, he was lucky to have even gotten three more plays. Just can’t be that bad. Dak was ridiculous right there. Only reason he moved the ball the two previous times is because the niners were in prevent.
And their dbs kept running into each other and blowing assignments. During those 2 td drives, it seemed like at least one person was wide open on every play.

It was disgusting but it’s the whole offense. Dak should have been picked on that first throw and then Turpin dropped a well thrown ball. The other downs the OL gets blown to bits and Dak doesn’t have the capability to improvise quickly enough to save either of those plays or maybe no one was open, hard to say. The whole unit just stinks right now. Dak clearly can’t carry an offense on his own and the warning signs were there last year that the offense could struggle significantly(which they did against good defenses). Then they let their one talented running back leave and don’t replace him and they roll the dice with rookies on the OL and we see the results. Even a QB as talented as Mahomes doesn’t look like a world beater when his offense is bare which last year shows. For this front office to expect Dak to carry an offense with this many holes is just laughable. He is just not capable of that and it shouldn’t be any surprise as we have seen what happens the year we had to trade for Amari Cooper.

Blame Turpin can't catch a perfectly thrown ball
Amen. This thread, and most of the threads created today, wouldn't have been created had Turpin done his job and catch the freaking ball. Speaking of Turpin, he had serious issues holding onto the ball before then so I'm surprised they had the confidence to go in his direction.

This response is not directed towards the OP, but rather those that refuse to accept reality.

Are we really going to scapegoat Turpin, even after Dak was God awful, throwing multiple interceptions, and doing absolutely nothing in the 3rd, while the defense was getting torn apart? After throwing the ball right to SF on first on that same drive and getting stupid lucky with a drop? Is that really the play to get Dak off of the hook? Dak is pacing another 20+ interception, but yall are so delusional to think all would be OK if Turpin catches a low percentage pass. Cognitive dissonance is real for some in this group.

For the first 3 quarters Dallas is throwing passes of 0 yards most of the time. Then with the game on the line they decide to throw a bomb on 3rd down? With the time they had they should have tried to eat the entire clock while marching methodically down the field.

Dak's first pass that was almost picked off, we way underthrown but a good pass there to CeeDee and the play would have gotten them 15 or 20 yards. The third down bomb was not a terrible call and if Turpin caught it, like he should have Dallas could have use the run and pass to get into the end zone. But the last play on 4th down was the worst. Dak threw to Brooks, their unproven WRs who was double covered for some reason. A really poor decision ended the game for Dallas.

Especially since Turpin's foot landed out of bounds.

The real question is, Why is it always the last possession against the 49ers?

Come on everybody. You expect our highest paid QB in the NFL to just come into the game and have a game-winning/tying drive? Sheesh!
