What type of game plan should Garrett should come up with ?

Start with 3-4 WR sets and throw quick slants to Austin and Roy and move up the chains a few times before start running Felix to the edges and make the DL of Vkings tired ?
or

Start with a FB and Barber and run him through the middle to set tone?

Discuss Merits and De-merits.

Game plan for Sunday, Try not to Suck!

Lots of boot-legs to exploit TR's new speed he's built running away from d-lineman.

Sweeps to the outside. It worked all day long on Madden when I matched up the Cowboys vs. Vikings.

Also, I called a blitz on every play and sacked Favre 5 times. Jenkins got two INTs.

Blitz early and often!

I would actually like to see us come out and utilize the screen and draw game against the Vikings. They are very aggressive and attacking defense and I think we need to get them back on their heels a little early.

If Dez can't go that is actually a pretty big hit and means Romo and Roy need to be on the same page with their reads.

I would really like to see us shorten this game and turn it into a defensive battle. I know that seems silly after last week, but I think if we try to shoot-out with them we are in trouble.

Run early and often at Allen and Edwards. Beat the crap out them...........

1. run football
2.smoke screens and screen plays involving Felix.
3. Lots of check downs.

I see the Vikings defensive line being a problem again this game, the sooner we can get the football out the better. Once we slow down their pass rush then we attack them deep. They must continue to run the football to keep Peterson and Moss off the field. The Patriots game plan.

My modem got fried not too long after the game and my new one FINALLY arrived... missed this board:rolleyes:

I just found out about Gurode, and Bennett:( if they're out, it really hampers the running game.

Our freakin' O-Line pretty much dictates that we will need to go with a short passing game with a lot of roll-outs to keep Romo from getting killed. I think we'll see a lot more toss plays to Felix since the inside runs will be painful to watch.

It's obvious that we will blitz Favre early and often, I just hope it's not a bunch of the dreaded (by us) ILB up the middle and basically declared as soon as the offense breaks the huddle stuff that has gotten burned so often this season.

*I see a lot of OL and DB's coming via the draft next year.

obvious sig is obvious.

Running the football and 3 step drops are the only way Romo won't get killed.
