lol!!! I just wanna watch the Hardy and McClain plays again. I'll skip through the offensive plays

The 5 sacks are the only thing worth watching but for me I would end up getting angry all over again. Some of the play calling made zero sense. Earlier in the game the Cowboys had a 3rd and one and chose to throw the ball that went incomplete leading to a punt. Last season we would have easily pounded the ball for that one yard and kept the chains moving. Later in the game on a 3rd and one they brought Michael in and he easily picked up the first down with a nice little burst. We never saw Michael again after that. We've seen him twice in 2 games on 3rd and one plays so apparently he's their 3rd and one back but he's been relegated to only one carry per game.

So what do you think it is, our HC, our OC, our system? Cuz I keep hearing this over and over and this seems like an annual complaint.

The main problem is the system we're being forced to run due to the loss of Romo, Dez and not having a consistent running game. Obviously we're limited with Weeden at QB he has more career turnovers than TDs and the Cowboys are fearful of him going down the field due to his history of throwing into coverage. We're having to be real conservative throwing underneath and swinging the ball out to the backs we have no explosiveness on offense. The Cowboys have no one on offense that scares anyone. Losing Dunbar was a blow because he had been the teams MVP so far this season with some big plays out of the backfield plus he was our second leading receiver. Without Dez receiving the attention he does it's enabled defenses to stack the box and double Witten in certain situations which is what NE did yesterday to take him out of the game. Without our big 3 from last season the Cowboys are severely limited as to what they can do.

The inability to get the ball down the field along with the lack of a solid running game has affected the defense which is spending a lot more time on the field this season compared to last season at this time. Not being able to move the chains the way we did last season on 3rd down is leaving the defense hanging out to dry causing the unit to wear down in the second half of games. The D looked pretty impressive in the first half vs NE especially the pass rush but they had nothing left in the tank the second half. The lack of use of Michael is hard to figure.

I know the 7th rounder we gave up for him was conditional based on his play time so I'm starting to wonder if the amount of carries he receives is attached to that draft pick. Garrett is a much better coach when things are going well but when the team is facing adversity he's unable to adjust. His decision making the past few games has rivaled some of the poor decisions he made his first 3 seasons. Hard to win games when you're not getting solid QB play or good coaching.
