Maybe just DVR'ing the game and rewind?
He gets an opinion sometimes and won't move off it.

I'm a Romo fan. I don't have a bias for or against Dak.He gets an opinion sometimes and won't move off it.
Then everybody's opinion is worthless until then...
I've probably spent more time watching the All-22 than you've spent sleeping and drinking beer combined. I know what I need to see.
Yuck. That would be terribleIf this was a "B" for Dak, I hate to see what his C, D, and F's will look like.
The long INT shouldn't have been thrown; however, that was the primary poor decision of 37 passes.Wrong, there are obvious things you can see since the camera is normally focused on them throughout. You can easily judge line play, RB play, and some of the QB play. You may be able to see some short WR routes and some nickel corner, but don't pretend you understand what is going on the entire time deep down the field. Your Dez crap is complete bias, right now the question is this DESPITE you thinking that MAYBE it was a poor route: the ball went where a corner and a safety were lurking, it was double coverage. It would have needed to have been a pintpoint pass to be completed or Dez making a freakish catch.
I can't think of any QB that had the rating Dak did with his inaccuracy that deserves a "B" - Your standard for QB play must be very, very low. So what is going on here, are you trolling or just being contrarian? You can tell me. This hot take is lacking.
Really wished you'd hit on the complete whiffs on our line blocking though.....you missed some real gems with all the gap pressure, stunts & delays.....Then everybody's opinion is worthless until then...

Witten - Great but limited routes due to lack of speed.
I think that this is just another clever way to bash Dez![]()
Yeah, I just rewatched every pass play and there is no way I could give Dak a B. Closer to a D, probably a C-.
In 40 dropbacks, 37 passes and 3 sacks I had him with 4 seconds or more on 18 dropbacks, and I had him 5 of 15 with one int on those and all three sacks. I had at least 12 with 3 seconds, he was 5-12 on those plays. I had him 7 of 10 on plays where he had two seconds or less, whether it was a designed quick pass or he had to get rid of it that quick due to pressure.

so..............did Dak pass up passes to shorter routes on those 5/18 with 4 seconds ? Did he again pass up quick pass to open receivers on shorter routes on the 5/12 with 3 seconds? Did the offensive scheme give him options off of stack plays, rub routes, slot motion that he passed up............or were there not even any avail ?Yeah, I just rewatched every pass play and there is no way I could give Dak a B. I can judge his accuracy without All-22.
I can see the pressure from the broadcast.
I can see Dez drifting upfield on crossing routes making the throw next to impossible.
I can see the INTs from multiple angles that they provided.
The only thing I can't definitely verify is whether some WRs were more open than where he threw the ball.
See above.Dak was not bad. I would give him a B for this game.
C- The last three games because of skill sets he does not have yet. 1) He holds the ball longer than most QB in the League. All season he has holding the ball 3-4 seconds in order to make reads. He has had to make them quicker the last few games and forcing him to make some bad decisions and inaccuracy on throws. 2) His throws are weak so that throwing darts to covered receivers is not there resulting in the CBs stopping completions. 3) He does not have the "6th" sense that Romo has for where the pass rush is coming from, the results are sacks. 4) This one maybe on the coaches but his play calling a the line to change plays is poor.
All these are learn-able but he needs to be coached more to be ready for these in the future as the Defensive Coordinators have learned what he is!
If you take away the plays that were the WRs fault and the plays where he had to get rid of it due pressure, then most of his other throws were good or at least good enough. Several throws were perfect.Yes and no. there were NO perfect throws but several were good enough.
The pass blocking or blocking scheme or lack of hot routes was a problem at times. The pressure and Dez were the primary problems on offense.
Yes
The biggest issue I saw with Dak was that he didn't run with the ball. They might be over-coaching him not to run.
True and maybe
The Offense Coordinator is limited due to the limitations of the receivers. This one needs more observation as I remember half way though the season they seemed better.
Witten - Great but limited routes due to lack of speed.
Beasley - Great but height limited.
TWill - Not good catching certain types of throws.
Butler - Hit or miss catching the ball. Route tree seems limited.
Dez - Poor route runner and unpredictable. Quits on some routes.
The running game was good but not demoralizing to the defense like it has been in some games.
This one I point to the fact that the running plays have not change all year for Zeke. Defensive coordinators have mapped out each of his plays and set up a scheme to stop it. Need to add a few new wrinkles to the running game and add McFad to the arsenal.
Zeke has gone from Super Human to just great. I wonder if he is a little banged up considering how much they used Dunbar.
