Game Day Game thread: Preseason Saints at Cowboys

Milton played against the 2's and 3's. Howell played against Sunday's cuts.

I actually think Howell would have more trade value than Milton around the league because of his starting experience. And by trade value, we're talking about a mid-late round draft pick either way but better than nothing I guess. If a team loses their starter during the season, they may get desperate and ask the Cowboys about Howell

Stanback

Howell didn't just throw a dart; he looked past the blitz, unleashed his inner dog and zipped a touchdown right into Van Vooren’s chest. I'm telling you, folks, MVV may be MVP!

And then Howell decides the six points aren't enough, puts his shoulder down, and runs in the two-point conversion himself.

He didn't just break the plane; he walked into the safety's living room, turned off the breaker panel, and left him sitting in the dark wondering what just happened.

Howell: "Hold up on that foregone depth-chart decision."

Just glad a couple of guys turned up to play.

Didn't Howel lead the league in passing yards on a bum Washington team a few years ago? Guy is a very good passer and will make a very good backup!

Lol I remember people hyping up will griers career performance in the last preseason game. Yall never learn your lesson.

Look, you have to attack the secondary, especially if they're being aggressive up front. Show us how good the corner can cover, and show us how good the safeties are. Back in my day, early to mid 90s, I kept telling the QB not to worry about the CB being tight on me because I'll always win that battle. Trust your receivers, that's if they're trust worthy. LOL
