First of all Lamb shouldn’t have gone out of bounds. But that wasn’t the main issue. The play calling was way too conservative after that play.

1st and 10 on the TB 34 with 1:51 left and tb had 2 TOs.

you need to keep the ball for the rest of the game and win with a chip shot fg. That wasn’t the approach. Say whatever you want about missed fgs/ extra points or OPI..

none of that matters if they manage the game appropriately..this is where the game was lost..end of discussion

We have not had a coaching staff that was competent since Parcells left. So it was no surprise.

He was up and down. He had some monster plays too, particularly that catch-and-run at the end. On the one hand he hurt you a few times, but on the other would it have been as close as it was if he wasn’t on the team?

Parcells wasn't competent, he was washed. Campo was terrible. Wade was OK but better as a defense only guy. Garrett was a joke. McButthole is a joke. Switzer got lucky and then got exposed. Jimmy was the real deal. We had a chance to sign another real deal after terminating Garrett last year but we picked McButthole over several other better options.

That and the typical untimely penalties were just too much to overcome.

Truthfully though, the game was lost in the first half with all the missed kicks and lack of red zone TDs

they tried to milk the clock. That’s why they lost. Milking the clock isn’t what you do. You keep the foot on the gas and keep marching down field.
