Alright... So it took longer than usual to shake off this fallout from a loss. I sincerely hope the team didn't let the thoughts linger as long as I have. 6 day... wow... 6 days of me on this board and with friends talking about how disappointed I am with the way this team has shown up on weekends. It seems the post game disappointment is lasting longer and longer into the week with every subpar season.

Yet still, I still hope our Boys go into Arrowhead today and totally obliterate the Chiefs. I had a good night sleep and woke up ready to witness a thrashing of the old Dallas Texans. :eek:hboy: Losing is not an option. This team must go into the bye week on a positive note. Here's to a resounding victory and good times all around. :toast:

Enjoy the game folks. The Boys get back on track today.

If LJ starts running wild and Matt Cassel looks like Tom Brady early in the game.... I will be on fire.

Who are you and what have you done with Bleu Star?!

Seriously, I feel the same way. That Denver loss was brutal. Leading 10-0, looking at 4-1 going into the bye, then it all blew up with just horrible play and play calling. Then that tease "almost comeback" at the end. That loss hurt bad and lingered too long.

Here we are, approaching gametime and we just need to see our Boys do what we know they can when they put it all together (which is not often enough).

I'm in Vegas right now celebrating an anniversary. Wife's still sleeping, and I'm reading football articles on my Blackberry. I love the fact that I get to watch the game at 10 AM. I hate waiting for kickoff on gameday. I put a few bucks down on the Cowboys on one of those "Super Teaser" tickets. Cowboys are pick 'em, Viking giving 2, Bucs getting 23 and Raiders getting 24. Hopefully we win and I win a couple of bucks.

This team, especially the O, need a good performance today to get some confidence back going into the bye. Let's keep this positive energy stuff going.

Go Cowboys!

Nice. I can't think of a better place to enjoy the game and then celebrate afterwards. Congrats on the anniversary. :)

This is the first football week since 04 where i haven't really been that excited about football. If we win it's what we where supposed to do, if we lose.... Lord have mercy on our mods :laugh2:

I'm the same way. This team's nonchalant attitude has rubbed off on me.

I read that and the these words came to mind "raindrops keep falling on my head".I know that was a song, but can't remember by who.

Anyway lets hope that LJ resembles a runner we had here by the name of Hambrick and that Cassel resembles a one legged man at a butt kickin contest.

Likewise! I'm headed out to the local watering hole. Here's a picture of what it looks like upstairs. It's right there on the beach and the whole top floor is blacked out for football fans only! Heavenly. :D Go Boys!
