Gameday menu

Bacon wrapped chicken breasts, glazed ham, dressing, 5 flavored mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, a special cheese macaroni dish with shrimp/bacon/5 cheeses, green bean/bacon/new potatoe casserole, candied yam with marsmellows, hawaiian rolls with butter, and deviled eggs.
I am sensing a theme here, 5, I am sensing 5. Let me guess, 5 ingredients in those deviled eggs?

OK, CC, if this is what you are having the day after the Christmas feast, I just gotta know what you had yesterday. Now, if this is leftovers, you should have designated that in the beginning like the rest of the posters did and not tried to show off.

Tamales with sauces. Porkers with queso and cheese and green chile tamales with chili and two salsas to top that off and plenty of cheddar, jack, onions, peppers and scallions on top. Jalapeno margaritas with chips and queso and salsa mixed before the main event.

I got tamales for Christmas Eve and didn't eat them. Then I had them for Christmas Day (same tamales) and didn't eat them so now I am starting a new tradition, Post Christmas Tamales. I have checked with my guide into all things Mexican if this is acceptable and she said yes but do not expect the Mexican tradition to change along with mine. She also reminded me of this when I was under the weather on Cinco de Mayo and wanted it changed to Cinco de Seis.

I found this to be the case in Louisiana when I needed some cooperation for changing Mardi Gras, some people can be so unaccommodating.

All of this refutes that theory that only we exist, alone, and everyone and everything around us is of our own creation. If that were true, I would have gotten more cooperation on these holiday traditions.

Yum , need any help ?

Slice some tamales, fry them in a pan and add some eggs. Makes a great breakfast
