I have been working on keeping my eyes level, it has always been an unconscious reaction on my part in younger years to immediately drop the eyes, I'm an old dog now and much wiser and in more control of the natural reactions, I do my best at keeping the view level these days, just was to young and stupid before to ever think the lovely ladies ever really noticed..lol

Spent the weekend in Cowtown... Ft. Worth stock show and rodeo. Made it back this morning to make a big batch of homemade slow-cooker vegetable soup and cornbread. Loaded with new potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, red kidney beans, carrots, corn, and even some pasta swimming around. It's whats for supper! That and beer, Jack & coke. Go Pokes!

Southwestern Turkey Burgers, Spicy Sweet Potato Fries and I made stuffed artichokes. But I will probably save the artichokes for tomorrow's dinner.

I had to nix the turkey burgers. The turkey meat I bought this afternoon turned out to be too gamey to eat despite the extra cumin, garlic, and salt I added. I hate when that happens! Looks like Wendy's chicken sandwich instead of the turkey burgers.

Having some guys over while the wives go out for a birthday dinner. 4 of time within just a couple of weeks of each other. I baked the birthday cake, chocolate hazelnut with raspberry filling and a nutella buttercream.

Guys are having Buffalo Wild Wings and pizza lol
